BuzzSaw reader Amy Marshall recently sent me a great article about two of my favorite topics...Buzz Marketing and naturally raised livestock. Oh, and Mexican food. Make that three topics.
The email was from the Chipotle. You know the "Black Beans or Pinto?" people. Well the email links to www.chipotle.com/speak. A cool buzz site with events, comments from the "food doods" and an invitation for users to communicate with Chipotle. One of the events being highlighted is a tour of one of the "natural" farms that supplies Chipotle with pork.
The "city slicker on the farm" schtick works. We like to watch the mixing of worlds and I have no doubt that plenty of visitors will log on to see the food doods tend the pigs. And what's this mean for Chipotle? A great tool to drive people to their site and a creative way of positioning its menu as healthy and environmentally friendly.
