Starting a Viral Marketing Campaign

A reader recently sent me a great piece of "buzzbait"---something designed to go viral and show up as a forward in email boxes everywhere. Take a listen at the link below.

I really like this piece for several reasons, first, it's just plain funny, well scripted and well produced. It also feels like an inside joke--an inside joke that thousands of us understand--but there's a sense of community around the piece. That community feel makes an audience more likely to share with others in their community. Finally, it ties back to a product that is a core part of Quest Software's Business.

So here's to you, Mr. (or in this case, Ms.) Buzz Marketer!
